Every engagement is unique. Explore how EXILLIUM has helped founders, investors, and international groups structure, incorporate, and scale — with speed, confidentiality, and long-term operational continuity.
1.
- French family | Hospitality assets in Europe, real estate in the US, UAE residency
Multi-Jurisdictional Wealth Structuring
Mandate:
A French UHNWI family engaged EXILLIUM to design a consolidated holding architecture for assets spread across France, the United States, and the UAE, with no existing structure in place and imminent succession planning requirements.
Structure Deployed:
EXILLIUM designed a layered architecture anchored by a Jersey Trust as the apex vehicle, providing asset protection and estate planning flexibility across jurisdictions. A BVI Holdco was incorporated beneath the Trust to hold equity participations and facilitate efficient profit distribution. A DIFC Prescribed Company was established as the UAE-facing operational layer, enabling local residency, regulated counterparty relationships, and compliant intra-group contracting.
Banking & Advisory Coordination:
EXILLIUM introduced the family to a Swiss private bank for consolidated relationship banking covering the full asset base. Independent legal counsel in Jersey and the UAE validated the structure for tax and regulatory compliance. All sequencing — from Trust deed execution to bank account activation — was managed by EXILLIUM as lead coordinator.
Outcome:
Full structure operational within 90 days. Private banking relationship established. Estate planning framework in place across three jurisdictions.
2.
- Pan-African trading group | UAE market entry & transactional banking
Corporate Banking Access for an International Business Group
Mandate:
An international trading group with operations across multiple markets had been unable to secure UAE corporate banking access due to documentation complexity, perceived jurisdiction risk, and insufficient corporate presentation for compliance purposes.
Pre-Screening & Restructuring:
EXILLIUM conducted a comprehensive KYC pre-screening, identified the specific compliance gaps preventing onboarding, and restructured the group’s corporate documentation and narrative. Source of funds substantiation, UBO disclosure, and beneficial ownership mapping were prepared to institutional standard before any bank introduction was made.
Banking Introduction:
EXILLIUM introduced the group to three regulated UAE financial institutions, each selected for their established risk appetite in the relevant markets. Full onboarding support was provided through the compliance process, including direct liaison between the client and bank compliance teams.
Outcome:
Fully operational UAE corporate bank account opened within eight weeks. Transactional banking solution subsequently structured to process USD and EUR flows efficiently across the group’s international operations.
3.
- Crypto entrepreneur | Multi-jurisdictional digital asset base, Web3 equity holdings
Digital Asset Structuring & Private Banking Access
Mandate:
A digital asset entrepreneur with significant holdings across multiple blockchain networks and equity stakes in early-stage Web3 ventures engaged EXILLIUM to design a compliant, bankable structure capable of consolidating and protecting his wealth while supporting future investment activity.
Structure Deployed:
EXILLIUM designed a layered architecture comprising: (i) a Jersey Trust as the apex vehicle for long-term asset protection and succession planning; (ii) a BVI Holdco beneath the Trust to hold equity participations in digital asset ventures; (iii) a DIFC Prescribed Company as the UAE-facing operational layer for residency, regulated counterparty relationships, and local contracting; and (iv) a DIFC Foundation established in parallel as a governance and philanthropic vehicle, ring-fencing a portion of digital asset proceeds for structured deployment. A DMCC Free Zone company was incorporated to handle day-to-day advisory mandates, service agreements, and invoicing, providing clean and auditable revenue flows for financial institution presentation.
Banking & Investment Access:
EXILLIUM introduced the client to two private banks with established digital asset capabilities, facilitating onboarding for both fiat and crypto custody. The client secured a private banking relationship covering portfolio management, structured lending against digital asset collateral, and access to tokenised investment products.
Outcome:
Full structure operational within 14 weeks. All entities connected through a coherent legal and tax framework validated by independent counsel in Jersey and the UAE. Private banking relationship with digital asset custody and lending facilities fully established.
