The terms on which this site is made available, and the limits of what may be inferred from reading it.
- Acceptance
- These terms govern the use of this site. A person who uses the site accepts them. A person who does not accept them should not use the site.
- Permitted use
- The site may be read and its content printed for personal reference. It may not be reproduced, republished, distributed or used to construct a derivative work without prior written consent. Automated collection of content, attempts to interfere with the operation of the site, and use of it for any unlawful purpose are not permitted.
- No advice
- The content of this site is published for information. It does not constitute legal, tax, investment or regulatory advice, and it does not take account of the circumstances of any particular person. Advice is given only under an engagement, on terms agreed in writing, and after the firm has carried out its client acceptance procedures.
- No client relationship
- Use of this site does not create an adviser-client relationship, and neither does the submission of an enquiry through it. A relationship arises only when the firm has accepted an instruction and an engagement letter and scope of work have been agreed. Information submitted before that point is not treated as privileged.
- No solicitation
- Nothing on this site is an offer or a solicitation in any jurisdiction in which such an offer or solicitation would be unlawful, or to any person to whom it would be unlawful to make it. The site is not directed at any person in such a jurisdiction.
- Accuracy
- The information published here is believed to be accurate at the date of publication and may cease to reflect the current position. Publications describe practice observed across institutions and jurisdictions and should not be relied upon in relation to any particular set of circumstances. No undertaking is given to update the site.
- Availability
- The site is made available as it stands. No undertaking is given that it will be available without interruption, that defects will be corrected, or that it or the server making it available are free from harmful components.
- Limitation of liability
- To the fullest extent permitted by law, no liability is accepted for any loss arising from the use of, or reliance on, this site or its content, including indirect or consequential loss and loss of profit, business or opportunity. Nothing in these terms excludes liability which cannot lawfully be excluded. [The applicable limitation is to be confirmed.]

- Changes to these terms
- These terms may be amended at any time. The version published on this page is the version in force, and continued use of the site after an amendment constitutes acceptance of it.
- Governing law
- These terms and any matter arising from the use of this site are governed by the laws of [jurisdiction to be confirmed], and the courts of [jurisdiction to be confirmed] have exclusive jurisdiction over them.
